The honor was officially presented at this year’s Building Wealth Today for Tomorrow (BWTT) Summit, held at the UIC Forum and featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Common as keynote speaker. The BWTT Summit brings together Chicago’s leading voices in entrepreneurship, finance, and innovation to empower local businesses and residents to build lasting wealth.

The business has provided youth employment opportunities, hosted self-care workshops, organized toy drives, and led citywide celebrations like the Juneteenth Extravaganza on Ellis.

 

A Polished Work’s clients and supporters, including AJ, Shenise, and Desiree, also attended the BWTT Summit to celebrate this milestone moment alongside other local entrepreneurs and changemakers.
